概述：This is an interesting but strange little story that tells the story of a fictional (however, to my knowledge) experiment conducted during the Soviet period under Stalin's control. The protagonist transformed from a woman to a man. This is part of a larger plan aimed at turning more women into men, with a stronger workforce/army, etc. This is a very in-depth study of the protagonist's personality, as she attempts to immerse herself in a world that she (now 'he') does not truly understand, especially because she is now a man... Stalin did not like the results of the experiment, so he killed the scientist. Then, the protagonist leads a simple and obscure daily Soviet life, but inexplicably gets caught up in larger and larger plans (reminiscent of Forrest Gump). (s) He has had conflicts with different important figures, including his ex boyfriend when he was a woman, and his frantic search for a nurse he may fall in love with after surgery... However, as an important married man from the Soviet Union, he was trapped in his own life and ultimately (reluctantly) made a huge sacrifice for his country. From there, the movie may start with a happy ending, but it is still incredibly frustrating.
