Chapter 1
Yes, she is mine.
Chapter 2
Is it just me? Movies "In Fashion" are of miserable appealing to me. So are their heart-wrenching powers. When I carefully finished recently, don't laugh at me, 2 out-of-fashion Oscar nominees, I found my self confused, mainly by the concept of the everlasting theme of Love.
"Closer" came about a week ago in a sense as the one I've been waiting for and attracted to, it was about the complicated relationship and affairs between two couples in London. In the endless tangling between love at first sight and then again the many royalty-testing first sights, two sets of love birds struggles on the edge of trust and honesty, the lure of strangers versus the commitment between lovers.
I CAN’T TAKE MY EYES OF YOU~~
It's a dead end. It's disturbing, made by a very disturbed mind, appreciated by many more. The director was born in 1931 which means he was 73 when he made the movie--that makes me feel either he was faking it or he was just too pathetic and couldn't let it go. Just like the lines from the movie:
Dan: I want Anna back.
Larry: She's made her choice.
Dan: I owe you an apology. I fell in love with her. My intention was not to make you suffer.
Larry: So where's the apology? Ya cunt.
Dan: I apologize. If you love her you'll let her go so she can be happy.
Larry: She doesn't want to be happy.
Dan: Everybody wants to be happy.
Larry: Depressives don't. They want to be unhappy to confirm they're depressed. If they were happy they couldn't be depressed anymore. They'd have to go out into the world and live. Which can be depressing.
